Named after the founder of Auckland Deaf Society, this light airy spacious room with a high vaulted ceiling is packed with features that make it the perfect space for gala events, awards nights, product launches and corporate and private functions. A large balcony area offers views of Potters Park. The room features wooden floors for dancing, built in stage, flown projector and screen and a purpose built bar. A lounge area adjacent to the balcony can be used for catering or as a tranquil chill out area.
When not in use by the Deaf community, the Sign Language Hub can also be hired. This contemporary space combines polished concrete floors and exposed ceilings. A dividing wall means the space can cater for groups of different sizes or two activities running consecutively. Bi-fold doors open to a paved outdoor area. This well equipped space has two flown projectors and a built in sound system, kitchenette, full bar facilities and pool table. Clean white walls make it ideal for exhibitions workshops, conferencing and meetings. Add decoration and it is a funky urban party space.
